i have been a huge fan if his since i was 8. i feel that randy is one of the most influentual guitarist ever and i probally wouldnt have been a metal haed if it wasnt for his screaming solo's. he deserve to b compared to the likes of hendricks or eddie van halen.he is just as important rock metal and all other genres of music. i for one am sad that i was to young to see him play live before his untimely death. thank u

randy has had the most influence on me on guitar than any other musicians. he changed the direction of heavy metal in his short time here definitely be recognized for his contribution to the industry
