Give the Randolph Class of 2020 the Best Graduation Possible

These graduates deserve to be celebrated and it can be done with social distancing.

No reason graduation cant happen in groups staying 6 ft apart.

Please have a live high school graduation

I'm not a parent of a graduate. But I am a taxpayer. I've stood on lines outside 6ft from each person at supermarkets like Acme, Weiss, ShopRite, Walmart… I watch a guy each time stand at the door marking down the head count and/or making sure everyone entering is wearing a face mask. I walk into the store, passing strangers up and down the aisle. Stand next to people in the aisle; always masked and keep social distancing in mind. Once I’m done shopping, I get in line again to check out, holding a short conversation with the cashier, passing back and forth words of concern and wishes of this pandemic coming to an end. After all is said and done, I’m handed my receipt and I’m on my way with my groceries. This function is allowed because it’s essential. All practices are in place in an attempt to safeguard everyone... Great job. I applaud the protocol. So, tell me, what’s the difference between the supermarket entry and checkout lines and having our graduates line up the same distance apart outside? What's the difference between walking up and down the aisle of a store and walking across an athletic field? What's the difference of being around strangers in these stores and sitting next to your classmates in an open forum following all social distancing rules? What's the difference between being handed a receipt or a diploma? NOTHING! Riddle me this, if we line our graduates up on an entry to ShopRite line and each walk in and the Store Manager hands them a diploma instead of a flyer or receipt, would that be acceptable? THIS NEEDS TO BE CHALLENGED BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! DON’T LET THEIR MEMORIES OF HIGH SCHOOL END WITH SOMETHING SO NEGATIVE! LET THEM GRADUATE, LET THEM WALK, LET THEM HAVE THIS “RITE OF PASSAGE.” THEY’VE EARNED IT!!

Give the graduates a damn outdoor graduation! Randolph has plenty of space to figure out the best way to make it happen. These kids need some sort of normalcy after being home and missing out on so many milestones such as Senior Prom any sports or activities they may have been involved with. If the Governor is giving the green light I don't see the issue! GIVE THE SENIORS WHAT THEY DESERVE AND EARNED!

The students have worked so hard for many years for this day. The governor approved open in person graduation. The school district should make it work! Other districts are. Maybe ask other districts how they are managing.

Our children deserve a graduation like everyone else .... Give them what they have worked hard for all these years ....!

If Cherry Hill with 11,000 students can do it, why can't we!
