"Do No Harm" is nothing but a trite & insignificant statement rather than an honest & sincere oath taken with purpose, truth & dignity ! It is unconcienable that so many medical professionals simply drop the ball and then drop out of sight & touch, with no regard to the responsibility of addressing the patients'/families' concerns. It's an indication of willful neglect in a patients' care from beginning to end. Such inconsideration & mistreatment (as in this mother's case) should definitely be presented to the AMA, thoroughly investigated & hospital administrators being made to stand in compliance to this mother's questions and concerns. This is but one of the many reasons for the loss of trust in America - from the Government, Judicial System, Law Enforcement & any other industry or agency given the responsibility for the welfare (or in this instance, substandard professional care) of its citizens. Money, status (nor the lack thereof) should not be the barometer for one's level of care in the medical field - but sadly & shamefully, it is - even for children ! Whatever happened to some physicians' motivation being that of humanity & morality ? May God Bless this mother & child in their pursuit of Justice.
