Inequality is a prominent issue throughout Canada. According to Statistics Canada, women earn 87 cents for every dollar earned by men. On top of this, Indigenous, racialized, and immigrant women, as well as women with disabilities, all experience the wage gap in different ways. Canada's persisting inequalities have been proven to slow our economic growth and negatively impact our society.

Inequality is a prominent issue in the world today. Therefore, Canadians should make every effort to make a change regarding this issue. This petition is a great way to ignite the spark for change.
I fully agree with this cause. There shouldn’t be any inequality of wages based on sex
The equality of men and women is something the world strives for, and such attempts help to slowly make it a more equal place.
Gender disparities need to be addressed. This includes inequalities in pay, job opportunities, education, sport .
