We need courts in SE Raleigh and had them approved by city council!! What happened?? Broken promises by James West, Andy Andrews, Jessie Taliaferro and former city councilors/city manager/mayor! Once again, the black community gets the shaft!!

Quit spending money on painting bikes on the road and build more courts while lowering our overall property taxes. Thanks

More public courts near west/central Raleigh! Pullen is full quite often and has no "potty" facilities.

At the very least get the public courts we do have in better condition. Wish Raleigh had a facility like the Cary Tennis Center.

Absolutely. Bulldoze an underperforming park and bam.

I suspect that 90% of tennis activity is in North (or even Northwest) Raleigh. Yet I hear that new tennis court development is being considered for Southeast Raleigh. It seems logical to plan/develop in a location based on the concentration of active participants--rather than developing an area that is inconvenient to those who play the most.

Would be great to get the courts around Raleigh in better condition!

More courts are needed in Southeast Raleigh first. The SE Raleigh Tennis Center was supposed to be open by now. It was voted on and approved by City Council. Construction was due to be completed in late 2015. How come there is no mention of this in the petition?? http://www.wral.com/raleigh-moves-ahead-with-tennis-center-plan/12621511/

Not only do we need more courts, but the condition of many of the courts at the parks near where I live are pretty poor.

We need more tennis courts here in Raleigh. It's been almost 30 years since the city has built new courts we are way overdue.
