I'm a frequent tennis player & enthusiast. I'm an Ebony Racquet Club Member. Our club & I play in Southeast Raleigh @ Biltmore Hills Park. I'm white, however our club is predominantly black. Biltmore Hills and the south side of Raleigh is lacking the courts and facilities that north raleigh already has. The south side of Raleigh, should definitely be a focus as it lags behind.
Also Youth Tennis programs are growing and thriving within Ebony Racquet Club. On many occasions, our courts have been completely full with youth practices or tournaments. It's so important for youth in lower income areas like this to grow up with access to healthy activities, opportunities, and community...All of which I see tennis providing for so many!! Raleigh should support these efforts with more courts, and make sure these good programs have room to grow & flourish for the good of our City!

Tennis is life long sport that is great for the health and well being of our city. If more courts allow the game to grow & the economy to benefit. We should support it!! (Indoor & covered courts are especially limited! It would be awesome to more available. See Bethesda Park in durham for example)

Cary has great courts and is smaller than Raleigh, we are in desperate need of some nice courts in Ralrigh, especially with more people playing tennis now than ever!!!! Thank you
