I went to uni in Bangor and lived on Anglesey. I didn't even know they existed, they are a pice of hidden culture, raise them for all to see!

I have lived on this island over 60yrs. All my life. We used to look out for the lions when traveling between Amlwch and Bangor on the train back when I was a child. We had no car. They are a treasure that today's islanders and tourists alike should be proud of!! They are unique and should be seen!! Better than windmills and pylons which what we are making name for ourselves now!

Born and bred on Anglesey. These majestic lions should be raised for everyone to enjoy. Great idea.

I've lived in this area all my life, and have only ever seen the lions a couple of times. It's such a shame they are hidden below, out of sight. Great idea to raise them!

The Lions should proudly stand at each end of the Bridge..... for ALL to see and admire. Not hidden from sight. Môn Mam Cymru used to stand for something...Make us proud Islanders again Show off these 4 beautiful Limestone Monumental Lions sculpted by John Thomas and immortalised in the following Welsh rhyme by the bard John Evans (1826–1888), who was born in nearby Porthaethwy. Pedwar llew tew Heb ddim blew Dau 'ochr yma A dau 'ochr drew. Four fat lions Without any hair Two on this side And two over there.
