A brain is not considered fully developed until the age of 25, why should we allow a premature brain of a young adult to consume a substance that could cause serious harm and in plenty of cases, death to themselves and/ or the people around them. There is lots of research proving the effects of drinking between the ages of 21-24. The only bennefit to not raising the LDA is that people between 21 and 24 can still consume alcohol.. which doesn't seem like a bennefit in comparison to the opposite.
