At this young age it is not neccersary to divide between boys and girls , and the palers should be encouraged to enjoy their spoty

This FAW rule is a national embarrassment when the rest of the UK allows girls to play up to age 15. The rule should be changed immediately.

I think the age of 14 is a good age to then go to a ladies team 11 is to young as long as the boys don't mind there's no problem ???

This is a great cause - I managed a team with two girls in, both of whom played until they were U13. Unfortuanaltey then the U13/U14 mixed league put paid to them wanting to continue. One was lost to football and one went to England to play on. Come on FAW get with teh times and out of th dark ages if you want Welsh football at all ages and all genders to be competitive.

Don't split up the team let her carry on playing with her friends get some Mums on these committees to make some sensible decisions!

Hi Kellie The F.A.W allow leagues to run mixed football if the area association do not run a girls league ,the Gwent county have never stop girls from playing in mixed teams as they do not run a girls League .We play in the East Gwent Junior League and have mixed Football up the under 16s

The Newport League play in the Gwent County the same as our League the East Gwent which allows Girls to play in mixed teams up to the under 16s .Girls can play in a mixed team up to the under 16s as the Gwent County do not run a girls league.

I have two daughters playing at newport corrie's I will have the same problem next season with my eldest and with two playing it will be difficult if they are not at the same club so anything I can do I'm club secretary so feel freedom contact me directly!
