Railroad Safety

i was almost just hit by a train on the 5800 block of Elm Ave, a Building is blocking the view and the sound of his horn til you are right there!!! We met at the same time , I had to swerve so thathe (the train) didn't hit me!!!

I've had 2 uncles hit by a train. One died due to the crash in 1994.

Lubbock needs warning lights and gates at all railroad crossings to prevent fatalities in the future.

Please make it mandatory that all railroad crossings have arms. Save a life!!

I completely agree this should be instated. Both me and my husband have almost been hit at 34th and alcove by a train, and I have seen multiple people barely miss one. This should have been done a long time ago. All active railroads SHOULD have these!

My husband, I and our 7 year old son we're on 84 crossing the railroad tracks just the day before that man died. it's impossible to think a known working railroad track is not being properly recognized with the crossing signs. that's almost like saying let's take the traffic signs away and traffic lights

There is no railroad crossing at the exit for Wolfforth at 82nd street. There is also a huge tree that obstructs the view if the tracks. This must be corrected or it will be the location of the next accident.

My brother was killed in 1996 by a train crossing arms would have saved his life !
