Good day Madam/Sir:
To whom it may concern,
I am an OFW, and on behalf of MILLIONS of Filipinos, I would like to report the unlawful arrest of our Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
He was arrested from his arrival on NAIA Terminal 3 and brought IMMEDIATELY to Villamor Airbase thereafter.
The Arrest proceedings in the custodial state indicated in ARTTICLE 59 of Rome Statute of ICC WERE NOT FOLLOWED LEGALLY which is why I am appealing to please bring back our former President Duterte in our Home Country.
1. He was arrested from the Airport and brought immediately to Villamor Airbase (which is NOT the COMPETENT JUDICIAL AUTHORITY) in our country. This is already a contradiction to section 2 of Article 59.
2. Section 3 was not followed even as he WAS DENIED to his right to even MEET ALL his legal counsels to apply for interim release.
In any case however, the legal counsels outside were able to petition to our Supreme court for TRO, but the police authority did not wait for the court's decision and immediately take him to a PRIVATE PLANE on the same day, March 11 at 11:15pm. His flight routed to bring him to THE HAGUE.
He is the MOST LOVED President in the History of Philippines and all the allegations thrown at him during his program of War on Drugs (if any, or proven guilty), MUST BE Brought TO OUR COMPETENT SUPREME COURT as WE, FILIPINOS are aware that WE HAVE A COMPETENT and FULLY FUNCTIONAL COURT to proceed with trials if any legal accusations filed against him.
I, personally believe, along with MILLIONS of Filipinos right now are in deep sadden and hoping for immediate return of our former President Duterte. We are all aware that this ia just a political vendetta against him because he fought with a lot of Drug syndicate (which are linked to politicians) on his term and they are all coming back to him now.
Also, we know that upcoming midterm election is coming and all the endorsement of Former President Duterte can win
