To: The Honourable Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland.

 

The Petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the Houst that the establishment, implementation and management of the provision of water to South East Queensland has been mismanaged and taxpayers funds have been wasted and continuing to be wasted causing unnecessarily high charges for water provision.

 

Your petitioners therefore request the House to establish a Royal Commision into the establishment and running of the water grid, the establishment and running of the water commission and the prices and justification of those prices for water provision by the newly established water retailers.
