Newspaper alerts are not sufficient public notice of radioactive water batch releases. There needs to be a more transparent and immediate social and physical presence of these notices. I want to see a permanent steel sign on the beach that can be folded closed on itself and is opened up to reveal a message, in advance of batch releases and throughout the duration of radioactive water release. These style of signs are used for road condition alerts and they are not expensive.

There should be no radioactive dumping. The plant should be closed and no more opened- anywhere.
People live near the radiation. Shut it down and notify people always.
