I was class of 1990 even then it was tough being a person to color. I would hope that in 2017 it would have improved. All we could do is be a positive and move forward.

As a member of the class of 1964 I am appalled. We never had any problems in my Four years of high school and it's disgusting that it's happening now. Shame on you.

Class of 88. LGHS has the responsibility to shape these young minds and take action to address behavior within the student body at school and school events. Not next year, now.

As a LGHS graduate and former resident, I am disappointed to see this behavior. It needs to be addressed before the school year ends.

We cannot allow racism to permeate and tarnish the dignity of our schools. White privilege no more. Instead, let's teach our children respect, integrity, and compassion.

Systemic problem, indeed. There is no reason to wait to strongly condemn these heinous actions. They should be addressed this year and next year. And every year until such incidents no longer take place.

I am an educator. I am from the Bay Area. I have friends who work for your school and I am FURIOUS. The public sees you. We see your children and we are appalled and disgusted. 1. Take action immediately on students 2. Take action to alert parents of inexcusable behaviour of teenagers, who, if taught at your school, should be prepared for college, not pre-school antics. 3. Make a public apology. 4. Spend your summer planning professional development for ALL staff members that will be implemented at site meetings and in student curriculum that touches on history, economics, culture or diversity. We are watching and waiting for your swift actions. Thank you in advance.

The factual history of a USA built on slavery and genocide proves that the actions of the students and the hesitation/delay of the administration are not anomalys but simply the continuation of and support for white supremacy.

Class of '73. LGHS, steer clear of the cowardice I presently perceive, and respond constructively (as per the petition) and IMMEDIATELY.
