Its time people wake up and recognize the level of racial inequality that has continued to effect this country. We are by no means post-racial and it could be easily argued that we are further from it now then say 10-20 years ago. The difference is everything is masked.

It's sad to learn about this incident. However, it is distracting to see a laundry list of demands that are not directly related. Training for staff on micro aggression, racial and derogatory language and imagery seems reasonable and focused. Marlon, SON 2013, SON PhD Student.
