Did you know that (mostly) male black student have a 3x chance of getting suspended/expelled or suspended than white students? This is because teachers (mostly white) are not in favor with black students and even studies show this. Racism can come in many forms from saying a colored looks stupid to getting a worse job there is A LOT of people saying racism is finished but trust me IT’S NOT.

In addition, being colored has many disadvantages. Schools in the US giving African Americans kids a harder time than white Americans. As I stated earlier, colored people have a lower chance of being accepted into a better university than whites because teachers are less in favor of colored people. This is a very common thing all around the world.

My final point is, during the time of Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks and Nelson Mandela the rights for African Americans was SUPER limited. And if you were an AA (African American) you would be experiencing EXTREME segregation. This ranges from special drinking fountains for blacks to special toilets for blacks. There was many protests and boycotts. This extreme segregation ended when Nelson Mandela was elected in 1994 but unfortunately, racism didn't end.

In conclusion, I think that racism should never have started but since it’s here I hope it will end soon! There are many people focusing on racism and I hope there will be more! I hope this petition helps you understand racism better and you take action! My goal is for this petition to get 30 signs or more!
