Officers are paid to protect and serve, This child should been given a ride home or the parent should been called and officer should stayed with the child until his parents came to pick him up. The streets are dangerous this child could have been harmed on his walk home. Sad a man would treat a child in this matter.

This officer needs fired to mistreat a child is wrong besides it is unlawful to have anyone in an police car unless they under arrest. I hope you have let the West Logan mayor know what happened. I say you have a right to to have this officer badge. This is sad very sad.

You should put have put his name in your story, to let the people of Logan and West Logan exactly who they have patorlling their streets. If someone were to that kid because of his racism, the cruiser, badge or gun would not save him from what he had coming. I child asks a police officer for aride home at night, and the police officer refuse, God help him.

The bottom line is that the police officer placed that child's life in danger by separating him from the group. Even though, Thank God, the child was not physically harmed because of the officer's racist actions, we don't know the trauma that the child endured, which I am sure that it affected him, maybe long-term. What makes it so atrocious is that he used a police cruiser to carry out this insensitivity. In my opinion, the state, the county, the city, and the individual should held accountable, both jointly and severally.
