RE. PETITION FOR ISRAELI GOVERNMENT TO ADOPT A POLICY REQUIRING JEWISH 
GOVERNMENT MALE EMPLOYEES TO WEAR A KIPPAH ON GOVERNMENT BUSINESS 
(PROPOSED "PROUD TO BE A JEW" ACT).
WHEREAS the State of Israel is the Jewish homeland, and
WHEREAS the Jewish tradition has for many years had a noticeable distinction that men wear a kippah, and
WHEREAS the kippah is a reminder that we must fear G-d, and
WHEREAS wearing of a kippah in public by jewish male government employees, including elected officials, while on government business is not an interference with the individual's freedom of expression as it is simply the expression of the employer, the State of Israel,
THEREFORE be is enacted by the Israeli government into law that jewish male government employees must wear a kippah while on government business.
