The RA is telling the British people that they , the RA, do not believe in the freedom of speech afforded to them through our laws.

Without freedom of expression there can be no art.

I can't stand online bullying. Just because some people shout something loudly, it does not make it true

The artist's views are perfectly valid and shared widely among many women and LGB people. By removing the works, the RA is pandering to the needs of a group that claims oppression, but is oppressing women at every turn. If the RA cares about women, it will reinstate her work.

Your capricious response to unsubstantiated denunciations, endangering livelihood without a hearing, must be a painful reminder to this artist of her youth under Stasi DDR

RA perpetuating their long standing nonsense that "the male gaze" is the only valid viewpoint. Contact them direct as well to tell them how wrong they've got it!

I advise you to google Eric Gill, a royal academician. He engaged in beastiality, incestuous relationships with his sisters and sexually abusive incestuous relationships with his daughters.

The Royal Academy has disgraced itself by pandering to gender extremists.

The RA is (allegedly) an ART institution. Either the artist has merit in their work or they don't. Political beliefs have no place in your institution. Shame on you for you abject cowardice in bowing to the woke mob and potentially destroying a woman's career.

Is thinking soon to become a crime?

The RA have acted disgracefully in suspending Jess de Wahls; her views are sensible, accurate and are based on common sense.

It is interesting to see so many institutions embrace the sacking and silencing of women..have they ever asked themselves a simple question...by my own actions, do I actually hate women, because every time a persons lays a complaint about a woman I automatically cancel or sack her. I think the UK courts recently reminded the public that sex and belief are both protected under Human Rights.

Reinstate Jesse's work and apologise for your insult to women. She is not transphobic but the RA is misogynistic.

The RA should change its mind.

This should never have happened in the first place! Please reinstate Jess’s work immediately or be boycotted yourselves

RA is out of step. It doesn't get to decide biology. Stop this woke overreach and listen to the deserved criticism.

Unless the RA plans to withdraw ALL artists who have political views or a personal history that anyone may find offensive, it is hypocritical to withdraw Jess’s works.
