This states that the R- Rating of a movie should allow people under the age of 17 to enter the theater with parent consent. The parent can buy your ticket and then leave and not watch the movie with you if he/ she doesn't want to. By buying the ticket for your child, you are giving your child parent consent to see the movie, therefor, you should be allowed to watch the movie without your parent.
