The Queensland University of Technology's IT-04 Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment degree has remained mostly unchanged since its inception in 2007. During this time the nature of the industry has changed rapidly and numerous inadequacies have short-changed students. No student is the same, nor are their goals. Each student's experience will be different. As such, this petition does not stipulate on the nature of the problem. Instead, we, the undersigned, signify that we believe it prudent and urgent that the IT-04 Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment degree, and the units contained therein, undergo a thorough review process considering the current nature of the industry, in-depth industry involvement and focus more accutely on student outcomes.
