The loud horns from the trains are causing the residents of this community a lack of sleep. Our home environments should be places that are conducive to restful sleep. We need a “Quiet Zone” for our health. A lack of sleep can cause harm to our bodies and minds. Thank you.

The train whistle is totally unnecessary and extremely disruptive to this once quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Our lives are in turmoil and our home values are plummeting .

The horns going off all the time are ruining the quality of life for people who live in those areas. I live miles away and I can hear the horns when I'm outside in the evening. Our children and hard working people that live in this area deserve the high quality of life that Walpole provides otherwise.

While the need for safety is our top priority with the frequency of the Kraft Pilot Program trains that constantly run through our backyards, the lack of sleep and disturbances that the constant ringing of bells and whistling of horns is negatively impacting children, teens and adults in the area. A lack of sleep is proven to cause slower reaction times and diminish productivity as well as lower immune systems, to state just a few important concerns. A Quiet Zone will still allow for the safety of everyone in the area of the railroad crossing, as well as increase the overall atmosphere and decrease the serious issue of sleep disturbances due to the trains.
