As a member of class of 2020 having a commencement ceremony means the world to me. There were many times throughout the past 3.75 years where I struggled to push forward but picturing myself walking across that stage and getting my diploma made me push myself. The thought of not getting that moment is devastating to me. Of course I understand we need to do what's safest for the public but please do not cancel. Please just postpone the ceremony!

Each college student works so hard for their diploma. Parents of all students, first generation or not deserve to see their child receive that diploma and walk across that stage.

Please hold graduation at an appropriate time. These students need to be recognized and they need to be able to thank their school, teachers and parents. Celebration is important reward of hard work and these students need to be celebrated!

My daughter has worked so hard to be on the Deans list for every semester she has been at QU. She came from a high school in which there were only 64 students in her class. She thrived at QU and she and all the other seniors deserve the right to participate in a graduation ceremony even if it has to be postponed

Dear President Olian,
My son Brian is a senior finance major. I appreciate all you have done to keep our kids safe. Please consider postponing graduation instead of cancelling it. It means so much to the kids and families.
Thank you,
Barbara Nelson
