The class of 2020 is full of amazing young adults! So much money, so many tears, and so much hard work went into getting to this point. Do not rob them of this.

I’m a first generation American who has two patents that are blue collar workers. My one parent didn’t even graduate from middle school. Having them see me walk across that stage in my robe and receive this honor not only for me, but them, means everything. Please don’t take this memorable celebration and our hard work away from us. The hard work of my parents to help me pay for this education, and my own hard work to graduate early with honors.

My friends and everyone else in the class of 2020 worked hard to earn this ceremony and it would’ve been mine too if I didn’t transfer

We are all well aware of the crisis with this horrible virus that is essentially shut down our country. Please let’s not forget our seniors who put so much effort and time and we’re looking so forward into this last semester. We should not trivialize the experiences that they will miss. Whether we as parents join together and do something ourselves or Q does something off Campus if necessary..

Seniors have lost so much already. They deserve and need a proper commencement ceremony to close their experience at QU.

These students have worked very hard to reach this point. They have worked diligently for four years and sadly now there is the possibility of having no commencement for these students.

Want the students to have the experience. They earned it and need to have closure with friends they’ve spent the last 4 years with.
