When this show started in 2000 it was the only one of its kind. It gave the LGBT community representation that nobody had seen before. Representation that we hadn't had since. It gave the LGBT community a voice. This show dealt with the important issues within the LGBT community, whether it was coming out, gay bashing, being HIV+, marriage equality, hate crimes, drug use or hustling we could all relate. Plus it dealt with issues like cheating, cancer, and death. It gave us a look into the lives of characters who eventually became our family. And now that it is 2016 we need our family and representation back. I hope that Netflix will consider rebooting this show and bring our family back into our lives.

This was such an amazing show. It thought me a lot, I'm straight but I enjoy watching tv and this show showed me a lot it brought out so much emotions: joy, scared, sad, mortified, happy and proud. I'm begging for Queer as Folk to come back, I'm dying to see Brian and Justin together again

We as fans of this groundbreaking show need this reunion. I for one am deeply disapointed in how the series closed. As for the merits of this show? Let's just say it opened my eyes to my own sexual orientation.
