I have been a regular climber of Mt Warning for 20 years as have my three children and my father. My eldest daughter, who is a member of the Bundjalong mob has climbed this mountain at lèast 6 times. Whilst I respect that some of the local indigenous people would like this closed there are definitely others that would just like to see it managed better.

Please keep Mt Warning summit track open for tourism & for the pleasure of local residents because there are very few hills to easily climb in this area & everyone loves this climb.

Mount Warning is for all of us. Minor safety issues shouldn't prevent people from hiking up the mountain. It is public land, therefore it should be open to all Australians. It is a beautiful hike, and it is so disappointing to see arbitrary rules from public servants preventing us from enjoying our country's natural beauty.

I remember many times climbing it as a kid. I have recently returned to the area with my own children and was very saddened to hear it was closed. I'd be sad if they and many other children never got to experience the beauty and majesty of summiting that mountain that every day we stand in awe of rising above this beautiful valley. It's iconic in the area and a shame if it became another lost space.

I first climbed this mountain aged 15 with local Aborigines and local guides. It is a magnificent and easy climb if it is properly maintained. Done it many times since.

I've climbed it many times, from the age of 12, and in the company of local Aborigines who even acted as guides. Please re-open this terrific natural and safe climbing location for all Australians and visitors to enjoy
