National parks were created for all Australians, not for the select few. The Wollumbin Stakeholder committee should stand down immediately.

Any piece of land could be considered sacred to someone throughout history.. So should we ban all humans from Earth?

The consulting Wollumbin group needs to be fired as it has not the best intentions for all, just the past according to them. If they are bullying in nature instead of culturally competent and aware then it’s not z suitable solution. It needs a better consultation approach recognition of those that have lived into the tweed shire no matter race and not dependent on lineage. It’s a backward step if you don’t hear my voice as I lived in the area for 25 years. Just because of lineage of skin colour

Please reopen Mt Warning for all to enjoy again, no more division and prohibition of who can and can't climb to do with race and gender. This precious mountain belongs to all Australians.

8.8km return journey, deep spiritual climb with respect in connection with the divine, I've done it 7 times awaiting the 8th ascension .. it's a powerful experience and should be honoured as such. If / when this reopens may there be emphasis on the sacred respect to walk this mountain.

The process which allowed the closure of this Iconic Track - and Mt Warning is deeply flawed and needs to be addressed as a matter of Urgency

Cultural significance does not assume ownership or decision making over something. However, If this is the case all people born in Murwillumbah have a say over access. There is no doubt that Mt Warning also has significance to those born and raised in the region. This may also encompass spiritual beliefs and a strong connection to the land where they have come from.

This park was reserved for public recreation in 1928 and dedicated as a national park in 1966. The Park is part of the Shield Volcano Group of the World Heritage Site Gondwana Rainforests of Australia inscribed in 1986 and added to the Australian National Heritage List in 2007. This site is significant to ALL Australians. To the NSW Environment Minister, James Griffin: "When did Australia stop being an INCLUSIVE country?"

I had planned for myself , wife and my 2 children to climb Mt Warning now that my children are old enough. I agree this site is for everyone to enjoy.

This sort of action will only make us decend into black and white exclusive division , not unity

This is an important natural Australian wonder and it needs to be accessible to ALL Australians, not just first nation people.

It’s a disgrace that this mountain has been closed. The National park should be open to all Australians.

Mountains are a natural feature which no one has created, therefore no one should own, like is the case with most other mountains worldwide which are homes to other indigenous populations.
