The Hon Bill Byrne would be well aware of the criminal activities involved with the strangle hold on the greyhound industry. Both thoroughbred and harness and both major parties have with held the greyhound industry from reaching its potential with growth and product turnover. Mr Byrne, forget about lining pockets for a moment and set something right, your honorary title is on the line.

Members of RQ staff seem to be running a vendetta against the greyhound industry in response to the live baiting saga happening on their watch.
I call on the Premier to DIRECT the Minister for Racing and the staff at RQ to assist the industry and not put up the roadblocks they do now.
eg. Not relicensing trial tracks
eg not allowing a friend to use another participant's straight track for fitness purposes
eg not processing licencing applications

We pay taxes and we pay a lot of money for a sport we love so don't punish all of us for a select minority
