Formula sheets are in place to aid a student; however we the signed feel that the current Chemistry 112 equation sheet is not doing its role; it even goes as far as hinders the productivity of students attempting to use it. Its non-organized and cramped design is very difficult and confusing to use. If students wanted to try to locate a specific piece of information in a seemingly non orderly cluster; we would have taken Hieroglyphics studies not chemistry. Sure it serves its purpose at providing a list of equations students would need; however the way that this information is presented is a huge problem. A simple division of the multiple formulae into sections would allow the equation sheet to be much more productive. We the undersigned wish for Dr. John Carran and other coordinators of the Chemistry 112 course at Queens University to redesign the formula sheet and lay it out in a way that is simpler, minimal and not a cluster of information; much like the Physics 117 equation sheet.
