Public education is undervalued - and teachers ALREADY work so hard to manage less than ideal working environments. I am a teacher and I love what I do - I don't want to see my working environment be eroded any more at the expense of my students. More students in classrooms that are ALREADY filled to capacity is NOT the answer. Cutting support for special needs is NOT the answer.

L'éducation n'est pas un secteur où on devrait faire des coupures! Au contraire, on devrait y investir! Au bout du compte, c'est la société qui va payer pour les problèmes rencontrés par les étudiants qui subissent cela. Les élèves d'aujourd'hui seront les travailleurs de demain! Si on veut des professionnels qualifiés, il faut leur offrir la meilleure éducation possible!

Sorry to be crass, but it's long past time politicians get their heads out of their ***** and place tax money (because we all know, there's lots of it) back into programs that benefit the largest number of people. Education would be a good place to start.

L'éducation est primordiale! En coupant constamment dans l'éducation, l'avenir de nos jeunes, donc de notre société, est en jeu. Notre société devra éventuellement payer socialement et économiquement pour ce problème. L'éducation ne devrait pas être un enjeu politique! Comment arriver à la cheville de l'éducation au public si on nous coupe constamment l'herbe sous le pied?
