Queen of Peace high school to close at the end of 2017 school year after 54 years. This decisions comes at an utter shock to faculty and staff, students, parents, alumni and the community. This petition is to allow parents to present a 3 year plan to allow the current freshmen to continue their education and graduate in 2020 with a Peace diploma.

My daughter has gone to Queen of Peace for 3 years and it has devastated her that she won't be able to graduate with the close knit group of friends she has made over those years. Please allow them to graduate together!
I am currently a freshman at QOP. I chose this school for a reason. I think about my graduation and I see myself walking down the stage as a proud woman of peace. Please help save the school and help this to happen. #gopride
My daughter is a current junior and at a time when we should be looking at colleges, we are back to looking at high schools. It's heartbreaking to know she won't graduate with her current classmates, who have become family.
These young women must have the opportunity to complete their senior year that was promised when they enrolled as freshman. What are their options? This closing is unacceptable for the class of 2018. They deserve better.
These families and girls chose QOP so their daughters would graduate from this school. Please hear out the parents 3 year plan to finish out these girls 4 year education. Please support your students and give them a much desired QOP diploma.
Let the girls finish their education and graduate at least. Especially the freshmen.

Heartbroken over this out of the blue decision that will ruin my future. Cannot imagine what it will be like to transfer to another school and be the new student who is a senior, please don't do this. Allow us 3 more years. We the students are Begging you
