By signing this petition I support the removal of PYP 2B class teacher Melanie Svensson in exchange for an immediate substitute teacher with accredited licensure approved by The Swedish National Board of Education/Skolverket and native or near native knowledge of the English language. I approve of the parent representatives bringing this petition to action to be my voice in this issue, if I myself are unable to attend a meeting or conference.

I deplore that the issue was driven to this regrettable point, because I like this person and I would be happy to see her in a role that she can fulfill. I cannot accept this person as a class teacher due to the shortcomings accounted for, employment of a class teacher that meets the required level of proficiency is unconditional.
Our children need a qualified teacher with full knowledge of the English language
My signature gives mandates to express the position of this petition, exclusively and only, towards the office of the administration of Vasa International School of Stockholm, and not to no other office or referral body, as for example the School Inspectorate, The IB international organisation, nor any other office or organisation.

Yes, I strongly believe that a native English speaker with a proper teaching degree is the ideal person to be qualified as teacher in an English language class.
