It's about time those who are unruly whether it be on a PWC or in a boat be the ones penalised not all PWC owners and operators based on the simple fact that we own and operate a PWC. All the reasoning comes back to Safety issues yet there are no rules that apply to a boat carrying 10+ drunk and disorderly people carrying on like idiots just as long as the boats skipper is not intoxicated.
We're targeted every single time we touch the water yet in 30 years of previous boating I had NEVER been approached by the Water Police or Marine & Harbours

As a avid boat user and just joined the pwc club.
I have lived in sa all my life.
I have operated boats most of my life and Im Actually shocked and surprised that there are so many restrictions placed.on PWCs
All should have the same rights and all individuals !! should be penalised for for there actions not as a group who do the wrong thing.
As for registrations....that's criminal.
All amuture marine operators should be equall.

It's about time. In Queensland they can operate at night with the addition of nav lights yet here we have to sit on the side of the river whilst watching massive ski boats roar around for hours after we are banished.

My Seadoo Fishpro is designed for Deepwater fishing, equipped with flares, oar, epirb, bucket, pfd, gas, quieter than many outboards. The law hasn't kept up with technology. I pay rego and have to complete a boat license.
