To: Dr. Christopher McGinley, Ms. Diane DiBonaventuro, Ms. Lisa Fair-Pliskin, Ms. Linda Doucette-Ashman, Mr. David Ebby, Mr. Gary Friedlander, Dr. Susan Guthrie, Ms. Lyn Kugel, Mr. Ted Lorenz, Mr. Jerold Novick We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned with the ramifications of the Third Draft Redistricting Plan presented by the Board on 11/24/08 and oppose this plan as the final redistricting solution. We ask that: 1) The Lower Merion High School (LMHS) walk zone and choice zone be returned to its former boundaries 2) The Penn Valley Elementary School community representing this walk/choice zone and the entire community of Ardmore be unified with attendance at LMHS We have seen viable plans on the District website which would accomplish these requirements and provide a more equitable solution based upon the values of Walkability, Community, Continuity, and Distance and Access, and we respectfully urge that these be reconsidered. **** Important Notes for Signers: * Petition is intended to be signed only by residents of Lower Merion Township, PA only. * Only your name and comments will appear on the petition. * You are NOT required to make a donation to sign.
