Women’s softball is a competitive, hard-hitting sport at every level and the US Olympic committee should not have removed it from the Olympics.US woman have won all three gold medals since softball joined the Olympics at the 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens games. Softball has become a worldwide sport. The Americans winning majority shouldn’t be a reason for removal. 2016 is the date on everyone’s mind, that’s the next time the sports can be reentered into the Olympic program after being eliminated from the 2012 program years ago.Olympics is a time when sports and athletes from all over the world get together and compete doing what they love. Millions of women love softball why should their Olympic competition days be over? Hoping and praying that women’s softball can be admitted back into the 2016 London Olympics comes true. Young women across the nation and world will continue to work for the cause.
