If Mr.Tony (the Grinch that stole Christmas from Whoville) removes the Nativity scene from the bandshell then he should also pack up all city wide Christmas decorations placed there by the city, put them in his sleigh and push them off the lighthouse pier. Also, no time off for Christmas for all city employees and certainly no "holiday" pay.

Put the Nativity set back up, for God's sake. There is a much HIGHER percentage that Love to see than the few you are cow-towing to. Let Democracy work and ask the general population. Don't wait until right before Christmas to do this.

"The Establishment Clause" of the U.S. Constitution provides that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." By removing the nativity the local government is going against the Constitution and the will of the people by prohibiting the free exercise of religion of the vast majority of citizens of Menominee.

This is such a shame!! Do you even Realize that CHRISTmas is a CHRISTan holiday?? If you want the nativity scean ban you misewell not buy Christmas presents, or even celebrate the holiday. Which is still sad... SMH
