I can't even believe this is necessary to try to prevent our school from changing into something even more unrecognizable from just 10 years ago.

This strikes me as an unnecessary change to make. I've never heard one negative comment about the sound of our band or how they look at parade, so why mess with it? If it ain't broke... Alpha '03

i would think that would cause some serious issues with the pipers playing in unison with one another.

'87. I have always felt a connection to the pipe corps. Although not a member of the band, my family and I believe the pipe corps should not be relagated to mere support but must maintain its own identity. Composite formations lack uniformity and appear haphazard and visually clumsy.

I believe that it is important to keep traditions especially when it comes to the Citadel which is known for it's traditions

Agree Pipe Band should lead to preserve the uniqueness of our sound and presentation.

I recently attended a parade and was quite confused seeing the bagpipers intermingled with the band. Who ever thought this was a good idea and why? We are an institution that holds tradition dear and yet a tradition of fifty years or more has been disregarded for some trivial reason based on an opinion. Please come to your senses and restore the bagpipers marching as a unit in their traditional place.
