Joe Arpaio has terrorized and discriminated for many, many years as Sheriff of Maricopa Co. As a woman who works in law enforcement, this man is a disgrace to the profession. His long reign of terror was ended when he lost his bid for re-election, but we are still having to deal with him - now on a national level. Why the President would waste his power to pardon on this atrocity of a human being I will never know. His conviction needs to be upheld, even though he has been pardoned. This conviction should sit on his record for the rest of his miserable life.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is a hardened criminal who violated thousands of inmates' human rights. Trump was wrong to pardon Arpaio; in fact, it shows that Trump violates human rights and becomes violates the rule of law. He was a liar to say he was the candidate of law and order.
