The decisions our next president makes on energy policy, international climate agreements, and regulating industry will be crucial in determining just how much our country will continue to contribute to worsening the climate crisis. This needs to be a topic of conversation in the lead up to both the primaries and the general election, and candidates need to be held accountable for their perspectives on it.
