The man defined concert band music for generations of kids in this state. He deserves this honor more than anyone.

MY WHOLE BAND PROGRAM GREW UP ON HIS PIECES. ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL MISSOURI HISTORY RIGHT HERE.
