Senior quotes have been here for years. You can’t just take them away due to one girl from a different year. The yearbook committee should’ve monitored it and changed it before printing it. It was completely their faults.

Don’t penalize the NEW group of students for where one person in the old class went wrong. It is ultimately the school’s fault that they didn’t catch it before the yearbook was printed. The person wrote along the lines of unscramble for a surprise, which maybe should have caused common sense to check the quote. Don’t penalize us new seniors and those to come from one person’s mistake.

The senior class and all other senior classes should not be barred from participating in a decades-long Senior year tradition due to an ignorant comment from one girl AND the administration’s fault for not screening the quotes first. It was nobody else’s fault but her and those in charge of the quotes (yearbook committee and administrators), but the whole student body is getting an exciting moment of our last year of high school ripped away from us. Some of us have been looking forward to our senior quotes for years and the administration wants to take the joy out of our senior yearbook so they don’t have to deal with the responsibility of screening the quotes like every other school does. Taking away our senior quotes is a lazy and cruel punishment that is clearly intended just so administrators don’t look bad in front of their bosses. College Academy advertises that they provide the full “high school experience” so students aren’t dissuaded from applying to the program, but by taking away senior quotes they’re going against that same promise that was made to all of their students.
