I, along with many other talented artists I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with over the years, have put our blood sweat, and tears into doing what we love. Why we love is creating beautiful looks that compliment your features. We love what we do. It's simple. But Refinery29 "Short Cuts" series has taken what we've all worked so hard for and turned it into a joke. From creating looks that are totally unwearable, to challenging and dangerous eyelash applications, this video series on the Facebook page "Short Cuts" has delivered lies to those new to makeup (who are probably so turned off to wearing makeup now) and have lessened the worth, and trust in application capabilities of my fellow makeup artists and I. This needs to come to an end, or rehabilitated to feature artists that know what they're doing
