Please keep the parks kid-friendly. Alcohol does not need to be allowed in the park. Also, people get fines for drinking outside a bar, how would this be fair to the bar owners who had to fight for a liquor license? The insurance would have to go higher if alcohol is allowed in the parks. Who would pay for that increase? The taxpayers? Even the ones who don't want it in the first place? Kids DESERVE to have a place to go and play without worrying about adults drinking around them

It's a place my grand kids love to go. Why do they have to deal with drunks or all the trash left behind. The you get into abuse to children and adults. There is a time

I say absolutely not to alcohol in our parks. Parks should continue to be a safe environment for families. I understand that the park district needs to generate revenue for our parks operations. But people need to stop taking the path of least resistance and look for postive ways to generate money and still have a respectable town that the residents of this county can be proud of.

I agree. Parks are a family friendly environment. Drinking should be done in a contained environment. A park is a place little children go to play and fathers and sons go to kick a soccer ball around. Drunk people or people drinking in this environment give a different image to the district arks. It exposes children to drinking in a different light. like it is okay anywhere at anytime.
