This is insane and one more effort to destroy Christianity. Do we not already have enough confused and hurt children?

Please just teach my kids to read and write. I will teach them what is right and wrong.

We need government and unions out of our public education, put to the local level to decide what our children are taught. Homosexuality and now the gender issue.....school is NO place for a child to learn about anal intercourse or why a boy wants to be a girl. This is a mental health issue. Stop the madness.

This 'Gender identity' nonsense is not education, it is mass delusion.

I do not believe this is appropriate material for kindergarteners and they need to her from their parents at this age.

I would rather my child learn to write cursive than have somebody speak to him about gender identity. I'll speak to my son about gender identify if and when I think it's needed.

Relative truth should not be taught in schools. Schools should stick to absolute truth and proven reality or we will continue down the path of dumbing our kids down so they can't formulate an intelligent answer for anything.

Everyone should start home schooling their children to protect them from this nonsense.

The state is dangerously pushing its own progressive propaganda. Our children will suffer terribly from this social experiment.

OSPI plans to force gender activism on children is an atrocious action which should be opposed by citizens throughout the state !!!

Longview wa is my home town. My little brother is about to enter one of those schools. More and more students will be lost to home School. Keep gender identity out. Keep it about academics!

How can we confuse our little ones more??? School is to learn Math, English, & Science....Our children's schools never have the funds needed to teach the basics and constantly need to raise funds, and or have parents continue to pay for extra needed supplies and field trips. Why on earth are they involving themselves in these types of issues? This is Absolutely CRAZY!!!

Our public schools are where our children should be taught basic math, language science and arts--NOT values!!! In a free society, values need to be taught in individual homes by parents/grandparents/guardians. Please reconsider the implementation of standards dictating the teaching of gender issues in our schools! Thank you!

Please do not let this be taught in our schools. It does not belong in any grade in my opinion. If the parents wish to teach this, they have the option at home.

Parents are capable of teaching their children WHO they are! Not some pedophile government agency! Lets teach this generation critical thinking so this country might have a chance of survival when they come of age.

I do NOT agree with the OSPI's new health and physical education standards. Schools should not be teaching our kids about gender identity & sexual orientation. That is a discussion that should happen at home, according to the values of each family. Stick to teaching them academics!

I do not agree with the new health and safety standards being implemented. Very inappropriate kindergarteners.
