against the new radical gender and sexual identity health and education standards. Parents need to address these as they see fit and not the government.

this should be taught by the parents not the schools and the of this being taught is not right. the kids need to be taught academics not what gender they are or want to be!!!!!!

Children at this young age should NOT be taught about anything of the sort in elementary school! Even sex education doesn't' start until kids are older. This is ridiculous! Homeschooling my child is definitely being considered! This is up to the parents to teach their children about these matters, and I as a parent plan to, but in the manner in which I find appropriate and at an age I decide is appropriate!

This topic is not appropriate for any age group to be taught by school teachers. These are value based discusstions to be taught at home. We love everyone. We do not discriminate or bully. These are the things that should be taught.

These are things best left to the family.

As parents we should teach our students this stuff not the teachers of public schools. They have enough controversial things to teach as it is. This is a personal issue that should be addressed privately not openly with every student.

I work for a school district in Eastern Washington and will home school our daughter next year. I've seen too much over the years and can no longer sit by and allow social engineering thrust on my child.

Since the 1960s the public school system has become a de facto (secular) state church issuing new doctrines ex cathedra from the superintendent of public instruction. Who made him a pope?

I will absolutely not allow my children to attend these classes. If they fail because of it so be it. This is utterly unacceptable. Children should be enjoying their childhood and not having to worry about such things. Those should be private family matters. No one is going to teach my child that they can choose their identity. How dare the schools think that they should have this power. We took GOD out of schools but you want to add this type of crap? Teach it in high schools, or not at all. Keep it out of our elementary, middle and Jr highs. It might be time to switch to private school. This society makes me horribly disappointed. I am all for acceptance of others but this is taking it to many steps to far.
