Don't believe the lie that this is only so "boys can wear pink". Obviously, the OSPI believes parents are simply to stupid to understand the issue.

I think adding this to ciriculum is a huge overstep of boundaries. Elementary school is not the proper venue for gender and sexual orientation studies, perhaps later in high school it may have a place. Children of an elementary school age are not yet sexual beings yet and have little or no grasp on gender disphoria or orientation. I do not want the government teaching my child these concepts.

Truly disgusting! Parents need to protect their children. When the child becomes 18, he/she can then decide!!

We have always taught our son to accept people for who they are. This alteration in the Health program however; is against our religious beliefs and does not accept us as we are. It is discerning that OSPI has no intention of informing parents of this change. After all, aren't we supposed to be partners? Not to mention the children will come home talking about it. We will definitely inform others about this. Thanks!

Too early to teach kids gender identity and highly likely distort kids view on gender identity and confuse them with cross dressing concept and etc. Strongly against the idea!

This is totally out of mind. fourth grade kids don't know much about sex orientation. My son is straight in nature. Now imaging the teacher would told him that you can also try male partner. This drives me crazy!!!

This is ridiculous. We are not paying tax to teach our kids how to identify themselve as LGBT.

it's enough. i can not stand with all the sexual related topics, legislations anymore. since when not letting a boy go to women's restroom is considerred illegal? i don't think it is correct to define whatever sexual identification as we want. we need common sense, we need a rule, at least biological sex id should have a standard but not whatever we want it is. it is crazy.
