It is inappropriate to teach these issues in such a way in public school.

If this passes I'm pretty sure there will be families leaving WA schools and moving to other states or homeschooling in order to protect their children's young brains from this garbage. The poor children in WA schools will most likely lose many friends because their families will be moving or being home schooled. So is this what we what? Do we want school friends to be torn apart and scattered across the country? If you are gay, lesbian, or bi-sexual then that's your choice to be that way (or in some of your opinions born with) but it doesn't mean everyone else has to live that lifestyle or has to know about it! And guaranteed if your child is gay, lesbian, or bi-sexual everyone else is going to know about it because students are going to be discussing all that stuff probably in class discussions to go along with the curriculum. Some students don't even know what it means to be gay, lesbian, or bi-sexual but if they find out their friend is.... Friendships may be torn apart! Why not just keep the peace between our children? Why not just let God's children be innocent while they are young? Innocence is bliss and peaceful. This curriculum could also end up causing bullying... Is that what you want to put your children thru?

I disagree with this. Teach our children and leave the moral issues to us parents!!!!!!!!!!

I oppose this new education proposal. Parents should be allowed to have a say on whether they want their children to be taught this way and I do not want my child to take any courses on being gender fluid.

This is unacceptable on a few levels. One, that parents won't be notified of this change and two, the curriculum isn't age appropriate at all.

Please do not allow this petition to pass, it will only confuse children of their identity. At this age they are not able to comprehend sexual identity.

Forget sending my children to public schools. I didn't realize we decide what part of "separate church and state" we actually want to separate. Bad move guys. Bad move. We will fight to the end for our children. If this is passed, it will be constant backlash. How disgusting!!!

The kindergarten classroom; nor any classroom, i believe, is not the age nor place to be teaching children this information. I believe if parents want their children to be taught this, they can do it in their own homes.

Shame on whoever pushed this trash through, and taking away how the parents want to raise thier own children this stuff has no business in our school system.

I am very disgusted that the government thinks that it is their job to teach children these things! it is the PARENTS job to decide IF and WHEN their children should learn these things.
