Gender identity and such concepts should not be taught in schools without a parent's ability to excuse their child when it conflicts with that family's values and beliefs.

Do not implement this. This is something that should be taught by parents and not our schools.

I know this petition didn't make it into the elections last fall. What is the plan moving forward? I hope it is still to turn in the signatures and put a stop to what is happening here -- without parental permission. Please let us know an updated plan!

This has got to be one of the more ludicrous, idiotic and offensive ideas any school board or curriculum committee has ever come up with -- this is so way out of line I can't even begin to explain why this is just wrong!!

I already sent my child's school a note to not teach him anything about sex. To send him to the library if needed. I wont hesitate to sue if they don't honor my note

This "curriculum" change should not be slipped under the table. Parents should openly know what is being taught so they can counter with their own beliefs!

The egregious overreach of the school system into our children's privacy and their attempts to inculcating them with socially controversial sexual doctrines is intollerable.
The state has no right to enforce this on our children.
