Push Back on Washington's Radical New Education Agenda

This is for parents to teach their own children IF THEY CHOOSE TO, not forced by schools.

Keep your liberal minded ideas to yourself and quit forcing your beliefs on me and mine! Leave that kind of teaching to the family and home life.

It is not the state's business to indoctrinate our children over the wishes of the parents.

As a parent with children ranging from 2nd grade to high school, i have strong feelings against this curriculum. I agree that kids should be educated in what is going on in the world around them and we should teach them to accept people as they are but I strongly feel that the schools should not go against the values that many families hold. These topics need to be taught in the home. We should be focusing on strengthening our families. Strong families help build a stronger community.

NO, this should be the parents decision.

I am a public school teacher and have heard nothing about this addition to our standards until recently. Gee, I wonder why parents aren't being notified? Unbelievable!

This is the most horrifying issue that parents and students have faced in the public school curriculum. I am strongly opposed to this!!!

Mom of 5 y o twins here. Please leave kids alone - no twisted gender issues. Don't push that craziness on kids. They are happier without that!

The only person who should teach children about gender is their own parents!

I am appalled that Washington state would even consider to implement such legislation! This legislation is not something that belongs in the schools in any state! This is something that parents should be allowed to choose whether to teach their own children or not! Again I must stress that gender fluidity and sexual orientation has no place to be taught in the public schools!

This is ridiculous! How about teaching math, reading, civics, science, and the like? What ever happened to "classical education"? This is nothing short of brainwashing IMHO.
