Our town badly needs this for our youth. It's disgraceful that kids have to climb into Keir campus at weekends to get access to a suitable pitch to play on! Kids want to play football, they want to be out in fresh air! This really would be a wonderful investment In health for future and there are suitable locations to build it - the former bing on Stonefield are for example!

Think its a great idea. I have a daughter who plays for an EK team and the facilities the team use r rubbish ie Duncamrig, Calderglen High school indoors, Brancumhall pitch - disgraceful. Even her team cud benefit from a good pitch in Blantyre area.

As a coach in the area I know how much this area needs a facility like this. We have to travel to Hamilton to train twice a week. We have a soccer academy in Blantyre but no 3G/4G pitch.
